Failed to meet expectations

Well I haven't updated this blog in quite some time...that's---no good.^^ I do have some sketches that I submitted to my DA page, located here---> http://ookiikun.deviantart.com/

In regards to technology, I've contemplated on purchasing a product from Wacom---the Cintiq 21ux, or large Intuos4. I'm leaning towards the Intuos4 obviously right now, because of the cost efficiency.

More sketches and some concepts that were dumped due to good olllllllll' disgust.^^

HIGAIZ. Back sooner than I anticipated, which is good. I initially intended to update the blog e'eryday, but that doesn't possible, not only because I'm dedicated to the title of this blog, but because I've been reading much more recently. Good stuff. I'd post the books, but I'll do that later because I want to give a review.

The first image you see above is the first page to my lil' comic project, and the second are concepts for different characters. MAAAAAN, I respect comic book artists for their their skill, reliability, and speed, but after just making just this one page, my respect takes on a whole new level! Slowly, I'm realizing that I just can't speed through things, and every pencil stroke counts. The process of cleaning up lines, toning,---I LOVE IT.

WOW

Disney buying Marvel? Quite interesting this is. Just the other day I saw Mickey Mouse with Wolvie's claws----PURE GOLD.

Anyway, on another note, above are some works that didn't pan out for Ndidi, a character that's going to be in my little manga I'm going trying to make.:D

STARCRAFT 2 OH YES...OH YES

One of my old roomies showed me something on Kotaku a little over an hour ago, that did not only make my day, but perhaps the month. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to show you some new Starcraft 2: Wings of BEST GAME EVER Starcraft 2: Wings Of Liberty footage.

If anyone ever thought that PC games were on a hasty decline, BOY WERE YOU EVER WRONG.

Now! To a much, much lesser extent, Marle and Lucca repairing an invisible Robo.

Plans for today?

I plan to do a lot of nothing mixed in with some Nihongo studying and much sketching. Here we have Katara from Avatar--which BTW is an amazing "American-anime", and Lilith from Darkstalkers. I've been trying to get Lilith down for some time now, ever since I received many comments on my old Lilith work, which is at my Deviantart gallery.

If you cats haven't listened to a group called Metronomy, GET WITH IT. Three tracks on their CD "Night's Out" that had me stuck were:

"02_The End of You Too" "03_Radio Ladio" "05_Heartbreaker"

Actually, I should be the last person on Earth to tell anyone to get with something due to my lethargic manner of hopping on any bandwagon late.^^ For instance, I was capaciously late for Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Lost, amongst some other media that I'd rather not say due to stones being cast out on me.:D

I LOVE LEAD

Woke up feelin' fine! What looks like a spikey-haired happy guy and a stocky toad are remnants of a great RPG company, Square. No, not Squaresoft-Enix or Squeenix but SQUARE. Here we have Chrono---the fantastic protagonist with the lonely hero Glenn---that was turned into a frog by his rival/arch-nemesis. Ahhh Chrono Trigger, only if all of your good fan-made sequels didn't get crushed by the tasteless giant, we probably would be enchanted by goodness.^^
